Error: "Unable to capture image!" in the WebCam Control

If you receive an error "Unable to capture image" in the WebCam Control application, verify the location of the image folder:

  • Open the Creative WebCam Control.
  • Click on Settings.
  • Check to see what folder is selected under Image Capture.
  • Change the folder to either a new one or another existing folder.
  • Close the program and restart the computer.

Choosing the directory location of the snapshots after it is being captured by the camera?

Create folder in the desired Directory Location

Launch WebCam Control

Go to

Go to the Settings option

<p>Select

Select the Album option tab

Select the Album directory to the folder you have created.

Its recommended to choose a File handling option.

Click on Apply, and OK.

Return to the Video mode , and take a snapshot.

Return to Album mode and ensure that the images are captured. Please check your folder to check if the images are successfully transferred to the folder automatically.
